Isobond 212 PS – Graphite water base coating

PRODUCT DETAILS

Isobond 212 PS is Graphite Water base coating having a good suspension & covering properties. Suitable for all type binder system like CO2 silicate, green sand &synthetic binder system. Isobond 212 PASTE suitable for all type heavy Grey Iron & SG Iron castings.
Isobond 212 PS is designed to withstand at molten temperature of metal, while acting as a barrier between molten metal & cores or molds. It is a high refractory coating & resistant to high heat temperature.
Isobond 212 PS helps preventing sand burn on, metal penetration, sand erosion & improves surface finish of the casting. Due to high quality crystalline graphite casting peel from mould & core is easy &help to reduce fettling cost of the castings.

APPLICATION

Isobond 212 PS is Suitable for the brushing & swabbing application. If required dilute with little water to suit desired application.
Remix the Isobond 212 PS with water homogenously before use.
3 In case of large mould/core surface, it is ideal to apply Isobond 212 PS
Drying system oven or torch drying

DILUTION

–100 part paste + 60-70 part water to maintain Baume 80- 85°
